First Night

our first night, we worshiped in the building that has been used for the past year or so. We were all very tired, but were amazed at the size. This building is a very small building. My bedroom would be a good comparison.....with a little "niche". The reason we were inside, was because it was raining and calling for more downpours. The service wasn't long, but it was all I remembered a service to be. The "praise band" wasn't there because there was no room....but our voices don't take up a lot of room. They just fill the air with a joyous wonderful sound.

At the service we were able to find other friends and family that we hadn't seen yet. It was such an exciting time....emotional moments....and wonderful feeling to be with the people we bonded with so much in 2 short visits before. This is Marianni, my DR gran daughter. She belongs to Maximo, my DR son, and his wife Lijoya (heck, I have no clue how to spell their names....) I didn't have the opportunity to see Maximo's wife because she is * months pregnant with there second child, a boy...and was tired. (I totally understand).

At the end of every day and beginning of every night, we wound our way up and down the metal stairway....to heaven. Our first night was over....off to our rooms and our beds for a
good nights sleep....we have a long day tomorrow.....
